FleetVault is an Australian fleet compliance platform operated from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. We can be contacted at info@fleetvault.com.au.
We collect information you provide when registering for a trial or subscription, including company name, contact name, email address, and phone number.
When drivers use the platform, we collect shift data including GPS location, timestamps, photos of dockets and receipts, fitness for duty responses, pre-start check results, and fatigue management records. This data is collected for the sole purpose of providing the compliance management service to your organisation.
We use the information collected to: provide and operate the FleetVault platform; send notifications and alerts related to your fleet; contact you regarding your account or subscription; and improve our services.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your operational or driver data with any external organisation except as required by Australian law.
FleetVault data is stored using Google Firebase, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we strongly recommend that you regularly download and export your records.
FleetVault does not guarantee indefinite data retention. Stored records including photos may be subject to removal after a period of inactivity or following subscription cancellation. You are responsible for maintaining your own compliance records as required by law.
FleetVault collects GPS location data from drivers during active shifts, updated approximately every 30 seconds. This data is stored as part of the shift record and is accessible to the account administrator for that organisation.
Drivers are informed of location tracking at the point of shift commencement. Location data is used solely for shift management and compliance record purposes and is not shared with third parties.
Photos uploaded during a shift — including pre-start inspection photos, docket photos, receipt photos, and issue reports — are stored securely and accessible only to the account administrator for your organisation. These photos form part of your compliance record and should be downloaded and saved regularly.
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you, and to request corrections to that information. To make a request, contact us at info@fleetvault.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
FleetVault uses session storage and local browser storage to maintain login state and auto-save shift progress for drivers. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not track users across other websites.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of FleetVault after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We recommend checking this page periodically.
